Claire

HEY GUYS! It's Claire. Sorry I haven't posted for the last two days. Thursday I slept and ate and the same yesterday. I have been SO bored! I can't wait until school starts so I can make new friends and not be so bored. Today I'm going to a birthday party for one of the girls that goes to my dance studio. We're going to the amusement park in our town. Just to let you know there is a new poll, and I'm happy to see that September was one of your favorites! My birthday is in September. Anyway, I better go. Love, Claire

Rebecca Continued...

Here is a nice new photo of Rebecca and a hint of something in her collection. We also have gathered some new information: Rebecca is American Girl's first Jewish historical character, and she's been a long time coming. For the past nine years, the company has been researching and developing the Rebecca character down to her hair color, which was supposedly a subject of debate for years. A nine year old in 1914, Rebecca lives on New York City's Lower East Side with her Russian - Jewish immigrant parents, siblings and grandmother, Bubbie.

Rebecca

I know you've probably heard, but American Girl is making a new Historical Character named Rebecca. She is a Russian-Jewish immigrant living in a row house on the lower east side of New York City in the early 20th century. She dreams of being an actress but her family has other ideas. I'm sure you've noticed a couple of pictures of her above. She also will have six books that are for sale on Amazon.com. The titles are:

Meet Rebecca

Changes for Rebecca

Candlelight for Rebecca

Rebecca to the Rescue

Rebecca and Ana

Rebecca and the Movies

I think she is beautiful and am considering buying her for my birthday. Sorry there isn't much information but American Girl has been kind of quiet about her release. If I run across any more information about her, I'll be sure and let you know! Thanks,

Auby
